Teldat Security GmbH offers with its packetalarm NG product range a new generation of Intrusion Detection- (IDS) and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS) for professional security solutions.

The most important measure to be taken in order to identify, monitor and log security breaches and attacks and to defend your internal network against them is still the commitment to deploy a comprehensive Intrusion Detection and Intrusion Prevention Solution. The new packetalarm NG series is designed to cope with the demanding challenge of implementing and operating a distributed NIDS infrastructure with up to several hundreds of sensors.
For the new generation of the packetalarm NG Systems a new Graphical User Interface with intuitive operator guidance and a quick and easy use has been developed. The team focus of the user concept helps in the administration of large networks. It includes not only a granular role concept but also a read-only mode which helps avoid conflicts caused by double administration. Even for single user groups, rights of action level can be defined.
The new dashboard allows an individual design so that important information is always available at a glance.
All the appliances include integrated fault tracking of hardware components. The appliances of the model series 500 NG and higher are equipped with a RAID as well as with redundant fans and hard disks. Three sizes of Sensors and Sensor/Manager models, plus two specially developed Managers for the management of mid-sized and large networks are now available at all authorized partners of Teldat Security GmbH.
