Can PacketAlarm simply be switched off, or does the LCD menu 'Poweroff' function have to be used?
PacketAlarm uses a 'journalling file system' for its hard disk, which means there is no real need for an explicit shutdown. However, on a manager or sensor/manager system, we recommend use be made of this function so that the manager's database is shut down properly.
